Public Safety PC IPCPS1205
Product Overview
The IPCPS1205 is one of the most
rugged computers offered in public safety. Constructed from a
solid precision milled aluminum block, it can be used in the toughest
of environments and is built to riggers of tough public safety
use. Impervious to rain, dust and wind, extreme temperatures,
liquid
spills, the IPCPS1205 is unique to public safety. The compact
one-piece, design requires a minimal amount of compartment space,
leaving maximum room for occupants. The dash mounted terminal
fits snuggly in police cruisers without modifying the dash or seating
area. Run “wants and warrants”, examine video and
write reports all from the protection of your cruiser.

The IPCPS1205 features a 1000NIT,
12.1” 800
x 600 SVGA display and touch screen. The wide 120 degree view angle
makes adjustments to the computers angle unnecessary. Instant blanking
allows the operator to instantly “black out” the display
for quick covert applications or for data security. It also has 100%
manual dimming on the unit, from full bright to complete dark with
the rotation of a knob, which allows the user to pick the exact display
brightness for the conditions at hand.

Powered by a 800MHz VIA processor
or optional 700MHz Intel Pentium III processor the JLT-IPCPS1205
is fast and reliable.
The Base Unit
contains: (2) DB9 Serial Ports, (2) USB 1.1 Ports, 1 Firewire port,
10/100 Ethernet Port, Audio Port, DB9 Keyboard and Mouse port,
(2) Cardbus 32-bit PCMCIA Type II slots, 12.1” 800 x 600
SVGA 1000 NIT display, 20GB HDD, 128MB memory, DC-delay/timer filter
and a
backlit keyboard with mouse. Choose the Windows operating system,
RAM Memory, Hard drive capacity and wireless connectivity that
matches your needs. The IPCPS1205 has many mounting options from
dash mounts
to pedestals and in most cases you may be able to retro-fit your
existing mounting equipment. The IPCPS1205 is radio independent,
wireless ready and works perfect with popular private data modems
including,
Motorola RD-LAP/ASTRO, Dataradio MRM/Gemini, WLAN, GPRS, CDMA,
802.11, etc.
